Larkspur Ferry Terminal Drive-Through Vaccine Site Launched
Marin County’s newest vaccine site launched yesterday, providing 400 doses to Marin residents age 65 & older. The new site, operated in partnership with Curative and Golden Gate Bridge District, is expected to deliver up to 2,000 doses this week and will continue to grow in capacity as Marin County’s weekly allocations continue to increase.
Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) is offering Marin residents free train rides to the Larkspur station for vaccine appointment holders at the ferry terminal POD. If approached by a train conductor, appointment holders can simply mention that are going to the vaccination site when asked for payment. Marin Transit will offer a shuttle to and from the train station to the nearby vaccine site for those with mobility issues, however, those who prefer to walk from the station are permitted to access the site on foot. The new vaccine site can also accommodate paratransit vehicles.
Sign-up for Marin County’s vaccine interest form to be notified of new appointments for this location.

New Vaccine Inventory and Administration Dashboard Launched
How many vaccines has Marin County received, and what’s the status of those doses? Now you have the answers at your fingertips. Today, our epidemiology team launched the new “Marin County COVID-19 Vaccine Inventory and Administration by Provider” dashboard. This dashboard is updated weekly and provides a summary of all COVID-19 vaccines received and administered by vaccine providers located in Marin County, as well as the number of vaccine appointments scheduled in the next 7 days. In addition, the dashboard breaks down the source of vaccines and which level of government – federal, state or county – that decides how much available vaccine will be supplied to each vaccine provider over which they have jurisdiction.
View both the “Inventory and Administration” and the “Vaccinations Received by Marin County Residents” dashboards on our data and surveillance webpage.
