Second Bivalent Booster Authorized

Survey Last Call
As Marin Public Health looks to the future of Public Health updates we look to you, our community for feedback. We’re grateful to all who responded to last week’s survey. If you haven’t done so already, please take a few moments to complete this quick survey by Sunday. Summarized results will be covered next week.
Emerging COVID Variant and Eye Symptoms
A new and quickly spreading variant has emerged in California. XBB.1.16 makes up 10 percent of cases currently and seems to carry a higher risk of conjunctivitis, or pink eye, which is often combined with itchiness. Consider the possibility of COVID-19 infection for anyone with conjunctivitis and stay up to date with your vaccines.
