Marin County COVID-19 Status Update for December 20 provides a video update from Dr. Willis regarding our local vaccine efforts and an updated snapshot of local COVID-19 data.

VIDEO: COVID-19 Vaccine & Case Update from Dr. Willis.

Dr. Willis offers a special Sunday update, discussing Marin County’s COVID-19 vaccine efforts, including progress in distributing the Pfizer vaccine to frontline healthcare workers and next steps with the new allocation of the Moderna vaccine. In addition, Dr. Willis reviews what today’s case count means for Marin (today was the second highest day we’ve seen during the pandemic).

Current Hospitalization Data:

UPDATE: The method for recording and reporting Marin County ICU capacity is being revised by Marin Public Health, local hospitals and the California Department of Public Health to ensure accurate reporting. Regional ICU capacity will continue to be published since it determines Marin’s status with the State of California’s Regional Stay Home Order.
