COVID-19 Status Update for 12/22/2020

Next step in vaccine process: Emergency Responders

With hospital staff vaccinations underway and approximately 70% of skilled nursing facility staff vaccinated, Marin Public Health has launched the next step in the vaccine process: vaccinating our frontline emergency responders. More than 1,000 emergency personnel are expected to be vaccinated over the next few days.  Here’s a behind the scenes view of today’s vaccine effort.

 

Holiday Schedule for COVID-19 Updates

Some of our services will pause later this week in observance of the Christmas holiday. Here’s an overview:

  • COVID-19 Call Center: Closing at 1pm on Thursday, December 24; will be closed December 25-27, reopening Monday, December 28 at 9:30am.
  • Data and Surveillance Webpage: will not be updated on December 24 or 25, but will resume updates on December 26.  However, the data snapshot found on https://coronavirus.marinhhs.org homepage will continue to be updated.
  • Marin County COVID-19 Status Update: will pause on Thursday and Friday in recognition of the holiday, but will be back in your inbox on Saturday, December 26.
