The Marin County COVID-19 Status Update is published weekdays and as needed to share important news and resources related to the COVID-19 pandemic and to keep the local economy running. We remain here for you.
Don't Assume You're Immune!
After you've been vaccinated, it's still important to continue using ALL the tools available to help stop this pandemic. Those include covering your mouth and nose with a mask when you’re away from home, washing hands often, and staying at least 6 feet away from others.
The Process of Making a Vaccine Appointment
Marin County Public Health is working with local hospitals, health care facilities, clinics and pharmacies on the vaccination process. Before you attempt to book an appointment, remember:
- to review the information on this appointment webpage.
- that appointments are required; walk-ins are not allowed.
- you must get your first and second dose from the same provider.
- that vaccine dose supply remains limited. Even if you are eligible, there may not be an appointment available yet.
- keep checking the website for available appointments.
