COVID-19 Status Update for 11/15/2021

The Marin County COVID-19 Status Update is published weekdays and as needed to share important news and resources related to the COVID-19 pandemic and to keep the local economy running. We remain here for you.

Vaccination Opportunities in Marin 

Pediatric vaccinations are available this week in addition to boosters, and first, second, & third doses. Advance appointments are strongly encouraged. Visit our Vaccine Finder page to schedule an appointment. 

The clinics listed below are available to anyone 12 & older. Our community has done a remarkable job at reducing the spread of COVID-19, thanks to those who have gotten fully vaccinated. We appreciate you doing your part.  

Upcoming vaccine clinics are listed below.:    

  • Northgate Mall Clinic     
    Sunday-Monday, CLOSED     
    Tuesday-Wednesday, 1:00pm to 7:00pm        
    Thursday-Saturday*, 9:00am to 3:00pm 
     
    *Note: Saturday’s Northgate clinic is for pediatrics (5-11 year olds) only and requires an advance appointment.    

  • Dollar Tree – Ignacio Shopping Center   
    Novato – Tuesday, November 16   

  • Novato Toyota   
    Novato – Wednesday, November 17   

  • Canal Alliance     
    San Rafael– Saturday, November 20  

If you are looking for a pediatric clinic, visit our Vaccine Finder to find a site near you. Appointments are required for pediatric clinics.  

Other options to receive your COVID-19 vaccine include:         

  • Local pharmacies like CVSRiteAid, and others offer same-day vaccine appointments. 

  • Marin County Public Health has developed an online form for requesting a no-cost visit from the mobile vaccination team. This form was designed to make it even easier for all residents to be fully vaccinated.  
    Its intended use is for:            

    • Businesses can request pop-up vaccination clinics at the workplace to vaccinate employees.            
    • Homebound individuals and their loved ones can request a visit to the home for vaccination.            
    • Hospitals and healthcare providers can make a home vaccination request on behalf of their patients.            
    • Long-term care facilities can request on-site mobile vaccination units for staff and residents.
